PrintFinder helps you find a 3D-printable file that matches a social media post, by analysing the post and searching public model repositories. We then link you to the original source page.
We do not host, sell, or distribute model files. Every download happens on the creator's own platform, under whatever licence they set.
Identification is automated and can be wrong, partial, or find nothing at all. A match is a suggestion, not a guarantee. Always confirm a file on its source page before printing. We are not responsible for wasted filament, machine time, or a print that isn't what you expected.
Each model is owned by its creator and governed by the licence shown on its source page. Some prohibit commercial use, remixing, or redistribution. You are responsible for reading and honouring that licence. If you are a creator and want a model excluded from our results, contact us and we'll remove it.
You can browse and import without an account. If you create one, keep your credentials secure and provide an email address you control. You're responsible for activity under your account. You may delete it at any time from Settings → My account.
Free accounts include 5 imports per calendar month. Imports are counted per account and per device. You can earn up to 15 additional monthly imports by inviting friends who install the app and sign up with your code; rewards are awarded once per new device.
PrintFinder Plus raises the limit to 100 imports per month:
Prices in other regions are set by Apple's local pricing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Unused imports do not roll over between months. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies — we cannot issue them directly.
We may change limits or pricing in future. Existing subscribers will be notified before a price increase takes effect, as required by the App Store.
PrintFinder is a small, independently run service. It relies on third-party repositories and social platforms whose interfaces can change or become unavailable, which may degrade or interrupt results. We provide the service "as is" and without warranties, and may modify or discontinue features.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrintFinder is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or print materials. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the current version. Material changes will be reflected in the date above.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
