By using PrintFinder you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Two sections deserve your attention before you print anything: Matches are AI suggestions and Printing is at your own risk.
PrintFinder helps you find a 3D-printable file that matches a social media post, by analysing the post and searching public model repositories. We then link you to the original source page.
We do not host, sell, or distribute model files. Every download happens on the creator's own platform, under whatever licence they set.
PrintFinder uses artificial intelligence to work out what a post is showing and to compare it against models on public repositories. AI makes mistakes. You should expect all of the following, and none of them is a malfunction:
Confidence labels (high, medium, low) are the model's own estimate of its guess. They are not a promise, and a "high" match can still be wrong.
Always open a file on its source page and confirm it is what you want before printing. We are not responsible for wasted filament, machine time, subscription or purchase costs paid to third parties, or a print that isn't what you expected.
3D printing involves high temperatures, moving parts, and materials that can fail. Neither we nor a model's creator can know whether a given file is safe or fit for what you intend.
You are solely responsible for what you print and what you do with it. Do not rely on a printed object where failure could cause injury or damage — that includes anything load-bearing, anything used on or in a vehicle, anything electrical, anything that holds a person or an animal, anything used for food, medical, or safety purposes, and anything used with firearms. Inspect your prints, use appropriate materials, and follow your printer manufacturer's instructions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for injury, death, property damage, fire, or loss arising from a printed object, from the operation of a 3D printer, or from your use of any file you found through PrintFinder.
Each model is owned by its creator and governed by the licence shown on its source page. Some prohibit commercial use, remixing, or redistribution. You are responsible for reading and honouring that licence. Nothing in PrintFinder grants you any right to a creator's work.
Creators: if you'd like a model excluded from our results, or believe something we display infringes your rights, email support@beyondbetterstudio.com with the link and we will remove it promptly. We display only publicly available metadata — title, thumbnail, author, and a link back to you.
PrintFinder requires an account. Your saved prints sync to it, your subscription is attached to it, and comments and invite rewards are tied to it.
Provide an email address you control, keep your credentials secure, and don't share your account. You're responsible for activity under it. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You may delete your account and its data at any time from Settings → Profile → Delete account & data.
Comments and photos you post remain yours. By posting them you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute them within PrintFinder for as long as you keep them posted — which is simply what's needed to show them to other users. You can delete your own comments at any time, and deleting your account removes them.
Comments and photos are public to other PrintFinder users. Don't post anything you wouldn't want seen, and check what's visible in the background of a photo before sharing it.
You are responsible for what you post. We don't endorse user content and aren't liable for it, but we do moderate: objectionable text is filtered at post time, every comment can be reported or its author blocked, reported content is hidden automatically, and a human reviews reports.
Free accounts include 5 imports per calendar month. An import is one post we identify for you — a post containing several prints still counts as one. Imports are counted per account and per device, so the allowance can't be reset by creating new accounts. You can earn up to 15 additional monthly imports by inviting friends who install the app and sign up with your code; rewards are awarded once per new device.
Browsing, searching, saving prints, and building collections are unlimited and always free.
PrintFinder Plus raises the limit to 100 imports per month:
Prices in other regions are set by Apple's local pricing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Unused imports do not roll over between months. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies — we cannot issue them directly.
A subscription buys you a higher monthly import allowance. It does not guarantee that any particular print will be found, that a match will be correct, or that a file will be free to download.
We may change limits or pricing in future. Existing subscribers will be notified before a price increase takes effect, as required by the App Store.
PrintFinder depends on services we don't control — model repositories, social platforms, and the creators' own pages we link to. We don't operate those sites, don't vet their content, and aren't responsible for them, their terms, their prices, or what happens after you leave PrintFinder. Links can break and content can disappear without notice.
PrintFinder is a small, independently run service. It relies on third-party repositories and social platforms whose interfaces can change or become unavailable, which may degrade or interrupt results. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any result will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your purpose. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions, so parts of this may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrintFinder and Beyond Better Studio are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, print materials, machine time, or amounts you paid to third parties — whether or not we were advised such damages were possible.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty US dollars.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PrintFinder and Beyond Better Studio from claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the service, your content, your infringement of a creator's rights or licence, or your breach of these terms.
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the current version. Material changes will be reflected in the date above.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York for any dispute, except that either party may seek relief in small claims court where eligible.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force and that provision is applied as narrowly as needed to make it valid. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of it. We may assign these terms in connection with a transfer of the service; you may not assign them. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us about the service. Sections covering accuracy, printing risk, warranties, liability, and indemnity survive termination of your account.
